PRIVACY NOTICE

ÆON Credit Service (Philippines), Inc. (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) collects the following information: (1) Mobile Device Data or device identifiers which automatically registers in our systems once website has been accessed; (2) Location for purposes of identifying the nearest Partner Merchant; (3) Cookies and information on the user’s device (collectively, “Personal Data”) from you for the purpose of recording users which access.  

For similar purposes, ÆON may share or disclose such Personal Data to (1) service providers which conduct systems testing; and (2) government agencies upon lawful order (collectively, “Authorized Third Parties”). When we share your Personal Data to Authorized Third Parties, we ensure that such disclosure has basis in law, contract or otherwise in connection with our legitimate business purposes. When we share your Personal Data to our service providers and consultants, we ensure that they will use the Personal Data strictly in accordance with our written instructions or requests. We also contractually bind them to implement adequate security measures to protect and secure the Personal Data we disclose to them against any natural or human dangers, and accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration and disclosure, as well as against any other unlawful processing.

We are committed to handle and protect your Personal Data with us in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, issuances of the National Privacy Commission, and ÆON’s own internal policies on data protection and security. We commit to use and process your Personal Data fairly and lawfully, with utmost consideration to your rights as a data subject including your (i) right to be informed, (ii) right to access, (iii) right to object to the data processing, (iv) right to erasure or blocking, and (iv) right to lodge a complaint. We will only keep your information for as long as we need them for business or legal purposes. As soon as purposes for collection are served, we will take the necessary steps to destroy, de-identify, or delete your information.

Providing us with the requested information is not required by law but if you choose not to give us information, e.g., location for purposes of locating the nearest Partner Merchant, Personal Data involved for the Referral Program, and necessary and incidental Personal Data for the processing of loan, we are constrained to not provide the desired information or functionalities available on our website.
